TEHRAN,YJC. Head of School Renovation Organization of Iran says this organization has built 480,000 classrooms to collect any portable classroom settings.
Morteza Raeisi said that complete elimination of portable school classrooms has been in the agenda, and instead, either schools have been built, or pre-built school classrooms have been replaced the old system.
In an interview to MNA, he said that enough budgets has been provided for the Renovation Organization, and so far, the Organization has eliminated 1,200 portable school classrooms across the country.
He also added that the number of portable school classrooms approaches to zero. "The extant few portable classrooms around the country are due to population motilities, which makes portable school classrooms a necessity,” he asserted.
Raeisi said that Sistan and Baluchistan, Hormozgan, and Kerman Provinces have the largest number of portable classrooms, and that "despite the difficulties, we have been trying to eliminate these classrooms in all these regions.”
