Haddad Adel:
Tehran, YJC. Haddad Adel has called Mousavi and Karoubi's the punishment rendered for the good of the two as well as the country.

Speaking in a meeting at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Tehran, Qolamali Haddad Adel provided comments on the situations of Mousavi and Karoubi, saying "The decision made regarding these two people was the least the system would do for their punishment, because it was both for their good and for the good of the country.”

Hashemi’s final-hour sign-up is regrettable

He also pointed to the candidacy of Hashemi and Mashaei, saying "We approve of the political manners of neither Ahmadinejad and Mashaei nor Hashemi. Hashemi’s final-hour sign-up is regrettable because sometimes he would say I will not go and sometimes he would say I do not know whether to go or not. Ahmadinejad will not feel unhappy if the upcoming elections are bipolar. Maybe he is happy that with Hashemi running, the elections will become bipolar the same as the two previous rounds of election.”

He added "In these elections we will have three groups, the Reformists, the government’s representative, and the Principalists. But the main rivalry is that between the Principalists and Hashemi supporters.”

Adel believed that a specific characteristic of Ahmadinejad is his unexpected behavior, hoping that as the elections approach such behavior will not be enacted by him.
