TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran has started working on nano-technology in 2001 and the country stands 5th in the world following Germany publishing 25 articles daily in international journals, he said.
Last July, Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari declared a 20-percent rise in Iran's economic gains from the sales of nanotechnology products.
"Iran has entered the stage of gaining economic profits from its scientific advances in the field of nanotechnology," Sattari said.
He reiterated that the sale of nanotechnology products has increased by one fifth.
"Despite Iran's economic hardships during the sanctions-era, the country's nanotechnology has witnessed an annual increase of 120 percent during the mentioned period," the Iranian vice-president added.
