Tehran, YJC. Kiasari has expressed doubts if the 2+1 coalition will make consensus.

Guardian Jurist’s Followers Parliamentary Group Spokesman Seyyed Ramezan Shojaei Kiasari in interview with Mosalas Online said "As I have said, if this coalition arrive at a consensus, for the first time in the history of the Islamic Republic coalitions have proven successful. But it is to regret that still the fumata nera is rising from this coalition.”

He added "It is said that Mr. Qalibaf leads in polls. But it is not certain whether Haddad Adel or Velayati will step down in his favor.”

He further said "Followers of the Guardian Jurist have held meetings with members of the 2+1 coalition. As for which one’s programs the Followers will approve of, it is something Mr. Jalali will answer.

Kiasari also addressed allegations that Hashemi is likely to disqualify for his old age, saying "There is no mention of disqualification for old age in the law and when there is no such law, you cannot just disqualify on that basis.”

He said "Mr. Hashemi’s candidacy disarrayed the campaigns, but it brought more vitality to them as well.”
