TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Rouhani in his message expressed hope that bilateral ties between Tehran and Kiev would be expanded further in line with interests of the two nations.
Earlier in March, Iranian and Ukrainian lawmakers in a meeting in Kiev discussed expanding mutual cooperation, specially in the parliamentary field.
During the meeting in the Ukrainian capital, the two sides underlined the need for broadening of relations between the two countries' parliaments.
The lawmakers also pointed to Iran-Ukraine sixth joint economic cooperation commission meeting's achievements, describing current relations as effective in continuation of economic and trade ties.
Few days before that meeting, Iranian minister of agriculture and Ukrainian energy minister in a meeting in Kiev signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to broaden mutual cooperation between the two countries.
The MoU was signed in a ceremony at the end of the Sixth Joint Economic Commission in the Ukrainian capital.
The MoU covered areas of agriculture, investment, finance, trade, chamber of commerce, industry, mine and steel production, machinery, geology, banking, oil, gas, petrochemical, transport, tourism, health, sport, communication and engineering consultant services.
