Tehran, YJC. Analyst says that the disqualification of Mashaei will be a great contribution to Rohani’s victory in upcoming elections.

Abdorreza Davari, political affairs analyst and close figure to Mashaei, said in a meeting with press and web activists on Thursday "I believe that the least cost for eliminating Mashaei was the resumption of the Hashemi current to the top. If things are go as now, no doubt Hassan Rohani will win the elections in the very first round.”

Also the managing editor of Shahrvand, Davari said "Those who paved the way for the elimination and disqualification of Mashaei during the past two years by calling the Ahmedinejad and Mashaei supporters deviant and by subjecting them to unfair slander must know that they prepared the ground for the resumption of compromisers and reformists to the top executive body and to have contributed to the backslide of the system right in the decade for development and justice.”

He regretted that not only have the current supporting Mashaei been removed altogether, but they have not been given any position to influence the competition from outside the ring.

He added "In the current flow of events on the electoral scene and due to the elimination of Mashaei and doomed play-acting of Jalili, our only approach would be an inactive participations, meaning that we will vote, but will support no candidate, because we believe that the unique potential enjoyed by the supporters of Ahmadinejad and Mashaei must not be wasted in this round of elections which is doomed and cannot be altered but with Mashaei.”
