TEHRAN, September 3 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said exchanging delegations between Iran and Saudi Arabia only aims at visiting diplomatic sites of the two countries after they cut bilateral ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “A Saudi delegation is going to travel to Iran only to visit its diplomatic sites, since the buildings have been empty after the two sides cut bilateral ties. We will also visit our diplomatic sites in Saudi Arabia.”
He noted that Tehran and Riyadh had reached a bilateral agreement to visit diplomatic sites in the two capital cities.
Iran has issued visa for the delegation while ago, he said, adding, they have probably postponed their visit to Iran after Hajj pilgrimage time.
He also said that the visit has nothing to do with paying compensation.
