TEHRAN, September 9 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is in Kazakhstan on Saturday to take part in OIC summit on science and technology.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The summit would focus on science and technology while in the world today settlement of human issues, including poverty, food security, environment, water, energy and employment would be possible only through science and technology, he told reporters at the airport ahead of his departure.
He also said that, “Science and technology can provide us with sustainable development and employment”.
This is the first Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit on science and technology, he said, adding it is going to investigate 10-year 2026 document in which ways for educational cooperation, solving problems and using Islamic countries’ potentials and capabilities would be determined.
The document would also focus on mega projects and cooperation of Islamic countries in mega projects as well, he continued.
