TEHRAN, YJC. Hassan Rouhani has said that he is happy to find the extremists angry with him for his candidacy.

After casting his vote in the morning today, Hassan Rouhani said "I ask the organizations to take utmost care and be aware that people’s votes are in their hands. God willing they will be good trustees.”

He provided comments on the necessity to safeguard people’s vote as "People’s opinion is the basis for electing someone as president. But we must ask respective organizations to take care as much as they can and, as the Supreme Leader said in the morning, they must know that people’s votes are trusts in their hands.”

Providing answer to a question regarding possible objections to the results, he said "The ways of objection are mentioned by law. The legal procedure will be taken.”

"Choosing one to vote for, the nation may try to vote for the one who can gratify their least needs,” he asserted.

He added "If people decide to lay the responsibility on my shoulder, I will try to eradicate immorality and extremism. It makes me happy to see extremists angry with me. This means that, with people’s assistance, we can establish morality in the country.”
