Turkey to keep on importing Iranian oil

Tehran, YJC. -- Turkey will not stop importing Iranian crude oil, Turkish minister of energy and natural resources said,. Talking about Turkey's decision not to halt purchasing Iranian crude oil, Taner Yildiz pointed that Turkey has also decided to increase its oil imports from Iraq.
Attending the oil and gas conference in Ankara, Yildiz said that Iran is Turkey's primary provider of oil and the second largest supplier of gas and the country will not stop importing Iranian crude oil.

Iran and Turkey have signed a contract in 1996, through which Iran has exported 30 million cubic meters crude to Turkey via a pipeline connecting the countries oil fields together.
