TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - During the meeting in Moscow, Bogdanov highlighted Middle East’s fragile situation and stressed continuous consultation between Tehran and Moscow.
“Stability in the region, including protecting Iraq’s territorial integrity is important and in case it is weakened, other regional countries will be affected as well,” he said.
Sanaie, for his part, said sensitive situation in the Middle East makes it necessary to conduct diplomatic consultations at bilateral and regional levels.
He also said holding a referendum on independence of Iraq’s Kurdistan region from Iraq’s government has been a dangerous move which could overshadow other regional countries in case it is not curbed.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran insists on political solution and holding talks to settle regional crises.”
