Iran, Nigeria economic exchanges rise in 2016

TEHRAN, October 8 - Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad-Reza Fayyaz said the volume of mutual economic exchanges between Iran and Nigeria has increased over last Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016, March 20, 2017).

Iran, Nigeria economic exchanges rise in 2016TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Fayyaz who is in Nigeria at top of an economic delegation in a meeting Nigerian Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Okechukwu Enelamah, stressed Iran’s support for developing bilateral economic exchanges and private sectors’ presence in markets of the two countries.

Okechukwu Enelamah, for his part, said the upcoming D-8 summit to be attended by ministers of industry and trade in November in Abuja would pave the way for widening bilateral and multilateral economic relations.

He also welcomed Iranian public and private sectors’ presence in Nigerian market.

A delegation from Iran’s Exports Promotion Center, Exports Development Bank and Iran Khordro car manufacturers are accompanying Fayyaz in the visit.
