Cuba President willing for strengthening ties with Iran

Tehran, YJC. Ali Saeidloo as head of a trade and banking delegate and Ahmadinejad's special representative has met with the Cuban President on Wednesday.

In this meeting, in which Cuba's Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla and the Iranian ambassador Ali Chegeni were also present, the two sides discussed means of mutual ties expansion.

The President of the Republic of Cuba articulated his gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its message of solidarity and friendship and expressed his degrees of pleasure in the ongoing relationships between the two countries, conveying readiness for the expansion of strategic ties.

He also congratulated Iran on its developments in different scientific and technological fields despite sanctions.

The Cuban President also reviewed situations in Latin America, deeming a bright future for the region based on developments regarding the ongoing trend of independence of regional countries from manipulative powers.

Ali Saeidloo for his turn presented Mr. Ahmadinejad's message to the Cuban counterpart and expressed Iran's readiness for expansion of mutual ties.

He also provided accounts of Iran's developments under sanctions and considered the vulnerability of arrogance before the will of nations as a divine tradition.
