TEHRAN, October 28 - Iran and Germany are going to expand bilateral cooperation in energy fields.

Iran, Germany to develop bilateral cooperation in energyTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The two countries held their first joint technical committee session on energy to develop a roadmap for boosting bilateral energy cooperation.

The two sides also discussed bilateral cooperation in oil and gas industries, petrochemicals and optimizing energy, electricity and renewable energy.

Director of Iran’s International Workgroup on Technology and Diplomacy of Renewable Energies Technology Development Headquarters Amir-Hossein Mir-Abadi also took part in the session.

Determining occupational priorities on the various domains was discussed in the session, he said.

He said that in case a roadmap is defined and concluded by the two sides, Iran and Germany can expand cooperation in energy fields.

Representatives of Iranian and German public and private companies participated in the session.
