TEHRAN, November 6 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi categorically slammed Saudi-led coalition’s statement against Iran, calling the allegations raised in the statement ‘wrong, irresponsible, destructive and provocative’.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Qassemi referred to years of war and aggression of Saudi Arabia against Yemen and said, Yemeni’s response to the aggression is an independent move which was resulted from Saudi aggression and not because of action or provocation by any other country.
He said that Saudis have failed to obtain the objectives in the long war and military aggression against Yemen and put the failed coalition in more impasses through wrong psychological operation and raising unfounded and false allegations.
He recommended Saudi officials to avoid laying the blame on others, end attack on defense less Yemenis as soon as possible and pave the way for Yemeni-Yemeni talks and establishing peace in the country.
In a statement, the coalition accused Iran of supplying Yemen's Houthi forces and their allies with the missile launched Saturday toward the Saudi capital's international airport.
