Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah Qeravi says that despite Ayatollah Yazdi’s statements, the Society of Teachers cannot be disintegrated.
Speaking in an interview with YJC, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Qeravi, member of the Society of Teachers of the Qom Seminary of Religious Studies, provided comments on recent statements by Ayatollah Yazdi and said "What I have understood from Ayatollah Yazdi’s statements is that he is concerned that the Society of Teachers might disintegrate, which of course is not a realistic concern.”

Ayatollah Yazdi had recently said that the Society of Teachers of the Qom Seminary of Islamic Studies was on the verge of disintegration.

Ayatollah Qeravi asserted "There is no possibility of disintegration in the Society of Teachers of the Qom Seminary of Islamic Teachings with a 50-year record of scientific and revolutionary campaigns.”

The ayatollah added "It is necessary that disagreements are mentioned and solved within the organization of the Teacher’s Seminary. To mention disagreements outside of the organization will lay grounds for misuse by opportunists and it will damage the privacy of the Society of Teachers.”

Himself a member of the society, Qeravi stated "With a record of more than fifty years of activity on the country’s political and scientific stage, the Society of Teachers is not bound to any certain individual.”

He also asserted that in the past two weeks, the seminary’s sessions have been held as regularly as before.
