Iran, Qatar, Turkey ink transit cooperation MoU

TEHRAN, November 26 - Iran, Qatar and Turkey signed a MoU in a bid to expand trilateral transit cooperation in Tehran.

Iran, Qatar, Turkey ink transit cooperation MoUTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The document was signed by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariat-Madari, Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci and Qatari Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmad Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani.

The implementation of the MoU would be facilitated by forming a work group for goods transportation and transit.

The MoU would pave the way for expanding economic cooperation among the the countries and removing hinders to sending Iranian and Turkish goods to Qatar.

The work group would find obstructions which have slowed down sending goods to Qatar via Iran.

The document was signed whereas Qatar boycotted by its Arab neighbors has faced problems in receiving sent goods due to Saudi excuses.
