A member of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis has said that Saudi Arabia is itself subject to accusations and its holding counter-terrorism conference is deception.
Mohammad Saleh Jokar, Yazd representative in the Majlis provided comments on the counter-terrorism conference in Saudi Arabia and said "Saudi Arabia exports terrorism and all the problems over in Iraq, Syria, and other countries arise from the Wahhabist thinking which has created rage around the world.”
"It is a deception that Saudi Arabia is hosting the conference on counter-terrorism since most regional countries are hurt by Salafi and Wahhabi thinking. The purpose of holding this conference has been to appear supportive of human rights against terrorism,” the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee member added.
Jokar pointed to US support for terrorism and stated "The terrorism now we see in Saudi Arabia has come by with US aid and support and it has caused chaos and instability in various countries.”
He added that to uproot terrorism unadulterated Islamic rules must be followed, since the phenomenon has lead to the death of many people.
Jokar also stated "Saudi Arabia stands among the accused and its holding a conference on counter-terrorism makes no sense.”
