Palestine must not forgotten: Larijani

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In the summit attended attended by OIC Member States’ Parliament speakers, Ali Larijani pointed out to the problems the terrorist groups created for the region which, he said, was digressing attentions from Palestine’s issue and therefore, created an opportunity for the Israeli regime to usurp the holy al-Quds as its capital.

PUIC is the voice of the the people of the region, Larijani remarked, so it is expected that those issues be on top of the Union’s agenda that provides the interests of all of Islamic states.

“There are the best sources of energy in Islamic countries, there is a great number of expert forces in Islamic countries, there are abundant agricultural and mineral resources in Islamic countries” Iran’s Parliament Speaker said stressing that Islamic states enjoyed high potentials for cooperation.

Terrorism

Referring to the terrorism crisis the world is copping with, Larijani explained also that terrorism issue is a mobile one.

“That the terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria were defeated is true, but terrorism is yet active” he further stressed.

In this respect also Larijani declared that Islamic Republic of Iran was ready to collaborate and share its experiences, gained in fighting terrorism, with all of Islamic countries to omit the crisis.

The more we disperse, Larijani stressed, the more others exploit our distance, so its is essential to learn the past lessons and design a sustained path for future.

Trump’s vulgarity

Pointing out to Trump’s vulgar remarks about some countries, the Iranian Parliament Speaker expressed his sorriness and said “I felt sorry when I heard that a couple of days ago the US President addressed some of other countries with insulting and vulgar language”.

That the US President talked about other nations with vulgar language is shameful; he must correct his manner; these behaviors does not help countries’ friendship, sustainability and cooperation, but increase animosities and gaps” Larijani added.
