TEHRAN, January 23 -Clashes and fist-fights broke out in Germany’s Hannover airport on Monday during a demonstration against Turkey’s military operation against US-backed Kurdish militants in Syria.

In the video, protesters can be seen holding signs and flags of Iraqi and Syrian Kurdish regions, chanting, “Fascist, Erdogan!”

According to the Hannover police’s Twitter page, around 20 people were involved in the dispute, with two suffering minor injuries. The situation was quickly brought under control.
