Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says that it is impossible for Rouhani to get votes of confidence for all of his proposed ministers.

The spokesman of the Committee of Education and Research of the Majlis pointing to the consideration of the record of individuals proposed for the ministries of education and health said on Tuesday "Besides the records of the proposed ministers which they have left, their political operations and modes of thought also count in getting votes of confidence from the Majlis, and it is not possible for the Rouhani administration to receive a primary vote of confidence for the cabinet from the Majlis.”

Abdolvahid Fayyazi pointing to the to-be session on Tuesday afternoon by the Committee of Education and Research of the Majlis with the proposed ministers of education Najafi, and that of health, Hashemi, stated "I know Najafi to have had a successful record in office, but it must be seen how much positive or negative changes he has had.”

He added "The Majlis will not vote unanimously for the ministers, and the Rouhani administration cannot get a primary vote of confidence and 4 or 5 ministers are sure to fail. Another reason also is that besides their professional record, their political outlooks and operations will be influential in getting votes of confidence from the Majlis.”
