Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker has said that Iran has never approved of mass destruction weapons.

The Arak and Komeijan representative in the Majlis in member of the Majlis Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy regarding recent statements by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "The Iranian defense doctrine is one that looks by no means forward to using chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons.”

Mohammadhassan Asafari asserted that Iran’s defense doctrine is its people, saying "Our greatest support in defense is the nation. We believe that the use of mass destruction weapons of any kind everywhere is condemned.”

"No doubt if the use of nuclear weapons were of any use, the US and the Zionist regime who own the biggest nuclear arsenals could stand up to Palestine rather than back down day by day,” Asafari exclaimed.

He added "Today, things such as nuclear weapons have no use and are rather a threat to the claimant country.”

The lawmaker asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought nuclear or chemical weapons, and has rather called for a world free of mass destruction weapons.

Benjamin Netanyahu had recently accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons against its people, adding that Iran uses Syria as a laboratory.
