Tehran, YJC. Foreign Minister has said that Marzieh Afkham is chosen as the ministry’s spokeswoman.
Speaking in interview with Tasnim news agency, the Iranian
Foreign Minister Mohammadjavad Zarif said in answer to a question 
regarding the
time when the list of the ministry’s new deputies will be announced "The names
of the deputies are final and they will be announced by Saturday noon.”
He also stated that Marzieh Afkham is the Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Zarif had recently stated that the country’s able women must be active in all spheres, including foreign policy, to show the world a real image of the Muslim, devout society of Iran.
