TEHRAN, March 31 -Iranian basketball coach Abbas Khaki has signed a contract to steer the national Iraqi men’s wheelchair basketball team until the conclusion of the 3rd edition of Asian Para Games in early October.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC)-Iranian basketball coach Abbas Khaki has signed a contract to steer the national Iraqi men’s wheelchair basketball team until the conclusion of the 3rd edition of Asian Para Games in early October.
The 42-year-old Iranian finalized an agreement with officials from the National Paralympic Committee of Iraq in Baghdad earlier this week.
Khaki has played for a number of Iranian wheelchair basketball clubs, and produced encouraging results as a coach.
The 2018 Asian Para Games, also known as the 3rd edition of Asian Para Games, will open on October 6, and will run through October 13, 2018.
