TEHRAN, April 07 - A Palestinian journalist wounded in the wake of Israeli troops attacks to protesters in Gaza borders, died.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Gaza Health Ministry announced that the Palestinian journalist Yasir Murtaji wounded in the protests east of Khan Yunis died because of severe injuries, al-Mayadin reported.

Yasser Mortadhi was reporting the Palestinians’ “Great March of Return” when he was shot by Israeli snipers east of Khan Yunis.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in locations near the fence east of Khan Yunis, in the south of the blockaded Palestinian enclave, and east of Gaza City, with their numbers expected to reach some 30,000 later on Friday.

Clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli troops near Gaza’s fence as large groups of protesters gather for what is expected to be the largest anti-occupation rally since last Friday, when the Israeli military shot and killed 20 unarmed demonstrators. Some 1,500 people were also injured.
