TEHRAN, April 25 - Iran and China signed a MoU to establish Chinese petrochemical complexes in Makran coastal strip, southeastern Iran.

China to establish petrochemical complexes in IranTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – Based on the MoU, Iran has vowed to facilitate establishing Chinese petrochemical complexes and ease exports of the products.

The agreement was signed by Iranian President’s advisor and Secretary of Free Zones High Council Secretary, Morteza Bank and Chabahar Free Zone Organization CEO Abdolrahim Kordi and China’s Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) Chairman Li Shousheng.

Iran also vowed to use its entire capacity to transfer products of the petrochemical park to other countries.

China vowed to established a Petrochemical Park in Chabahar Free Zone. The park would produce high-tech petrochemical products and provide Iran with the the related expertise.
