TEHRAN, June 03 - 40 Saudi mercenaries were killed and 15 others surrendered themselves to Yemeni forces in the western coast of the country.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In their operation against the Saudi-led coalition mercenaries, the Yemeni popular forces also shot down a Saudi regime’s Apache helicopter and hit a number tanks and trucks of the regime.
Saudi troops and their allied mercenaries are currently pushing to seize the Yemeni port of Hudaydah, through which the bulk of the international humanitarian aid enter the country.
The Saudi-led war has already driven the entire impoverished country close to the brink of famine amid a crippling blockade which Riyadh says is aimed at stemming weapons shipments to the country.
According to figures released by the Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights, more than 600,000 people have been killed or injured in the Saudi war since 2015.
