TEHRAN, YJC. Deputy Oil Minister has provided details of 3 agreements between Iran and Pakistan on gas export.
Javad Oji said "In meeting with the two countries' oil and energy ministers 3 agreements were made.”
He added that a 780 km pipeline is to be constructed in Pakistani soil by Iranian contractors. "For the construction a 22-month schedule has been set,” Oji stated.
In addition he added that in the Islamabad meeting the Pakistani side has had no demand for discount in gas price.
Oji also said that with the completion of the seventh pipeline and operation of Pakistani pipeline, India will set for negotiations for Iranian gas.
He added that negotiations have been held with a number of Chinese companies for gas export to the country.
