Tehran, YJC. The City Council of Tehran has removed a set of billboards that attacked US honesty.

On Saturday the City Council of Tehran removed a number of anti-US billboards installed across the city.

The one of the billboards claims to have depicted the American style of honesty by replacing the hand from the side of the US with a claw, while the other side its holding a real hand.

Yet another shows two people representing Iran and the US sitting for negotiations while formally dressed, except for the American side wearing military garment on his lower body.

City Council member Mohsen Pirhadi in interview with Tasnim said "The fact that a number of our friends have performed such an act in a spontaneous movement by NGO’s such as Owj Cultural Organization or the House of Designers of the Islamic Revolution is appreciable.”

Some other political activists including parliament members have criticized gathering of these billboards.
