Iran, Cuba Ambassadors meet in Lebanon to discuss developments

TEHRAN, YJC. Rene Ceballo Prats has and Ghazanfar Roknabadi met on Thursday in Lebanon to discuss regional developments.

After expressing sympathy on the assassination of Hesam Khoshnevis, the Cuban Ambassador to Lebanon pointed to the positions of the two revolutionary countries and stressed resistance and confrontation as the only way to face enmity and imperialism of the world arrogance.

Rene Ceballo Prats added that there is no way that countries like the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Cuba would set back as much as one step against the excessive demands of the enemies.

Ghazanfar Roknabadi in his turn reviewed latest developments in the region. Stating that the issue of Palestine is the most important one among equalitarian ones worldwide, he stressed that Syria is a pillar in the resistance against the occupying Zionist regime and its arrogant supporters. He asserted that surely the resistance front would not leave Syria alone in its current crisis.

The Iranian Ambassador also condemned the terrorists anti-humanitarian actions and expressed hopes that the political procedure will be operational soon.
