Turkmenistan, UAE presidents in Abu Dhabi to discuss possibility of establishing strategic-level cooperation
President Gurbanguly of Turkmenistan on Monday begins a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This year's secon meeting between the Heads of State will be held in Abu Dhabi.

In February the President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan paid an official visit to Ashgabat. The dialogue will now be continued with a view to "elevating relations to the level of strategic and long-term cooperation aimed at further consolidating the position of the two fraternnal states in the geopolitical and economic
space of the world", the Turkmen governrment press service reports.
   
When in Abu Dhabi, the two presidents will discuss priorities in furthering the development of interstate relations, economic partnership and humanitarian contacts. Within the scope of the visit the President of Turkmenistan will also travel to the city of Dubai.
