Tehran, YJC. Eight EU Parliament members are visiting Iran this week.
The Majlis Speaker’s Consultant in International Affairs says a delegation of 8 European Union Parliament members is going to visit Tehran this week.
Hossein Sheikholeslam in interview with Tasnim news agency added "The European Parliament’s Delegation for relations with Iran will arrive in Tehran headed by Tarja Cronberg on Friday December 13.”
He added that the European delegation will be visiting Iran as invited by Kazem Jalali, Director of the Majlis Research Center.
Sheikholeslam further said "The European Parliamentary delegation of 8 in their stay in Tehran will visit Jalali, as well as Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Head of the National Security Committee of the Majlis, and Ali Larijani, the Speaker of the Majlis and some other political figures of our country.”
The Majlis Speaker’s Consultant in International Affairs pointed out that the European delegation will leave Tehran on Wednesday December 9.
Meanwhile some news reports say that political activists from France are going to visit Iran from 13 to 16.
