Tehran, YJC. Jalali says new sanctions by the US cut across Iran-West talks to come to terms on the nuclear case.

The EU Parliaments head of delegation to Iran Tarja Cronberg met with Kazem Jalali, the Chairman of the Research Center of the Majlis, on Saturday noon.

Appreciating the Iran-Six Major talks as constructive, Jalali said "We must try to make the talks arrive at a conclusion. The recent US act in posing new sanctions were out of any relation to trust-building, honest negotiation.”

"The West does not make a good interpretation of the realities of the Iranian society, that is why it has gone astray in its decisions in relation to Iran,” he stated.

Mrs. Cronberg who was leading a parliamentary delegation to Tehran said in turn that the EU Parliament endorses the results of the 5+1 talks with Iran and that she hopes that the negotiations will be followed by trust-building actions.

She further hoped that while media represent a false image of Iran, visits to the country by such delegations as the one under her leadership will amend the image.
