Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah says each Iranian couple must make at least 3 children to beat the West.

negative growth of population is an American, Israeli, and European policy for
the third world countries. We are fallen in the trap and fooled by them.”
Ayatollah
Naser Makarem Shirazi speaking at his class on Wednesday morning pointed to the
aging population and said "For us to escape that situation we must pay
attention to growing the population. Each family must have at least three
children. There must be no single-child family.”
He also renounced contraceptive operations and
said "The physician who does such a thing covertly has committed crime and is
liable. The factors which have driven the society here must be looked into and
some contributive measures must be taken.”
Pointing
to child-parents disagreements, the ayatollah said "The reason is that the
culture in which the parents have grown is different from that in which
children are. Fathers have a traditional culture and children are raised up
with the culture of the age of satellite and internet and non have any
understanding of each other whereas the sides pay attention problems will be
solved.”
