Tehran, YJC. Iran’s air force has successfully tested its Qader missile in a series of drills.

Fars news agency reports that the Iranian air force ended its forth series of exercises called "Fadaeian Harim Velayat” on Saturday.

A special feature of the drills was the testing of Iran’s home-made, air-based missiles Qader and Nasr. Although they had been previously tested, it was for the first time they were being used in semi-real situations.

The Spokesman of the exercises Brigadier General Hossein Chitforoush stated that the missiles can be installed on all sorts of fighters.

He added that changes had also been made to the fighters in order to increase the missile range.

He further said that flying only one meter above the water, Iranian pilots keep their aircrafts hidden from radars.

Chitforoush also provided comments on Mirage fighters and said that the aircraft has been improved for better camouflage and reconnaissance.
