TEHRAN, YJC. Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has said that the German Defense Minister's recent speech has revealed that weapons sold by the US, Germany, UK, and France go only to protect interests of the West and Israel.
Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has severely reacted to the German Federal Defense Minister Thomas de Maizière.
Maiziere had said lately that the increase in the weaponry sold to Arab Persian Gulf countries is because Israel has been threatened by Iran.
Maiziere had also said that in surveys conducted what has been important has been the extent of threats from Iran that the region is exposed to.
Vahidi said in reaction "These words uncover the West's vile, treacherous schemes against regional nations and show that weapons sold by the US, Germany, UK, and France go only to protect interests of the West and Israel and not people in the region.”
Vahidi added that the words show that human rights is only a tool for advancing their anti-humanistic deeds and it holds no other value.
He asserted "It was made clear what aims the Irano-phobia policy by the US and the West follows; defending the anti-humanitarian, anti-Arab, and anti-Palestinian interests of the Zionist regime and looting properties that must be in the service of the development and wellbeing of the people of the Persian Gulf region.”
Vahidi believed that in the German Defense Minister's words it was intended to show governments of the Persian Gulf region as parallel to and in service of the Zionist regime, this being a real threat to the countires.
Vahidi finally added "The German Defense Minister and Western authorities must know that by selling it weapons, they cannot save the Zionist regime from the fate it is destined to due to the many atrocities it has committed.”
