Asharq al-Awsaq reports that Maher Hamoud, prayer leader in Quds Mosque in Sidon, said "The Saudi show no effort for Palestine. Although they have a lot of wealth they do not use it for helping the poor and the needy. They rather use it for seditionist goals in Syria and elsewhere.”
Hamoud added "The House of Saud supports the religious groups that follow them. Cohabitation with them is impossible.”
Pointing to Saudi Arabia-friendly groups’ criticism of the Hezbollah, he inquired "Why do they put a spoke in the wheel of the Hezbollah which defends Lebanon?”
