Tehran, YJC. Head of Majlis National Security says the House of Saud needs to stop supporting terrorism.

Speaking to ICANA, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis said "The United Nations must help the Saudi Arabian government in order that the House of Saud changes its policies, because for this policy to go on will turn the region into the focal point for crisis which will not benefit either Saudi Arabia, the Islamic world, the Arab world, or the region.”

Alaeddin Boroujerdi also pointed to the terrorist bombing near Iran’s embassy in Beirut and stated that it is necessary that Iran should sue Saudi Arabia now that the UN Security Council is considering the country’s case on charges of support for terrorism.

"Because the operations’ agent was a Saudi Arabian national and regarding the fact that with the Foreign Minister’s visit to Lebanon new corners of the story are sure to be exposed to light, our ambassador to the UN will have to talk to the UN Secretary General about the issue so that Iran would be able to better defend its rights in relation to this story.”
