Tehran, YJC. Salami says Iran’s military assault power is a good reinforcement for the country’s foreign policy.

The IRGC second in command Hossein Salami appeared on a TV program on Saturday night.

"Although we possess a highly destructive and offensive military power, and although we are able to threaten the interests of great powers at all levels, we do not talk of military power in diplomatic relations,” he said.

He added "Americans basically lack political logic in international relations and try to use the logic of power rather than the power of logic.”

"The US military option is OK with us. They can make use of it, but they will have to take on the responsibility for its destructive consequences as well,” Salami stated.

He further added "We have discerned the US military strategy, organized our own abilities, and identified the spots that create a shock in the US.”

Maintaining that considerable provisions are made abroad, Salami said "The Hezbollah enjoys a deep expansion level in the region, people who dream of a decisive battle.”

He added "There are thousands of brigades on ground to defend our independence and territorial integrity in a fantastic way. Whoever would decide to talk to our nation with the language of threat or contempt should know that we consider no border in fighting him back and will not limit the confrontation to any boundaries.”

The IRGC second in command asserted "They must be careful they are not given into misunderstanding for the kindness of our political leaders. Kindness is an Iranian characteristic, but behind that there is the memory of US violations.”
