TEHRAN, YJC. A Harvard and Maryland University Professor believes that the prophet Muhammad established a government and recommended it.

Charles Waterworth in interview with Mehr News Agency said in answer to a question as to whether the establishment of an Iranian government is discernible from the Quran or the Prophet’s tradition "This is something that Ali Abdurrazzagh has discussed in full in his book Islam wa Osul ol-Hikam.”

He said "I too have something on Mr. Abdurrazzagh which will be published soon. My essay in this book is called ‘Law and Common Good’ and will be published in a book named Islam and the Governance Hypothesis.”

He said that governance and politics are human issues and that governance in Islam has been established and recommended by the Prophet.
