TEHRAN Feb 12 – Spokesman to Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers a permit to visit Parchin subject to the consideration of Iran’s right to nuclear energy.
Speaking in the sidelines of Kazakhstan meeting, Ramin Mehmanparast said concerning Iran’s answer to the bilateral negotiation with America proposal "The framework has been laid by the Supreme Leader for Iranian officials. Any claim to negotiation is only feasible if signs of goodwill are shown beforehand. At present such signs do not exist.”

He said that Iran’s nuclear issue is easy to solve if the other party negotiated logically. "Our base for negotiations is the NPT and according to that, we insured commitment to peaceful nuclear energy requirements,” he added.

He further stated that for peaceful uses uranium must be enriched and Iran has submitted thorough reports to the agency.

Concerning Iran-IAEA talks Mehmanparast said "We are always ready that by understanding between Iran and the agency, Iran’s right to nuclear power is fully recognized. In this case we will also resolve their concerns and can put a visit to Parchin in agenda.”

He further added "Iran-IAEA negotiation has a general framework and we think we have been most cooperative with the agency and all our activities have gone under its supervision.”

Providing comments that the Iranian nuclear case is to be pursued again in the Security Council Mehmanparast said "This procedure is defective since there is no obscurity in the Iranian nuclear case and it was agreed that after answering their questions the case would follow its normal course.”

"We believe that peaceful nuclear activity is an absolute right for Iran and the agency must consider it.”
