TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - At least six people were killed as a result of a rocket strike that hit Kabul on Thursday morning as people were gathering in the Afghan capital to celebrate Nowruz, the holiday marking the vernal equinox and also known as the Persian New Year, local media reported.
The Pajhwok Afghan news agency reported that a total of three rockets had landed near Kabul's southwestern Karte-Ye-Sakhi district.
Another 23 people have been injured as a result of the attack, the agency added.
