TEHRAN, Apr 20 - According to the portal Tengrinews, the accident occurred at around 5:00 AM local time when a bus flipped after trying to evade a collision with two cars that had previously crashed on the highway.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "As a result of the accident, eight people were killed instantly, 32 people were taken to medical facilities, where three more people have died of their wounds", the interior ministry statement said.
According to police, at least 50 emergency service troops are carrying out a rescue operation on the scene.
An investigation is currently underway, however, at the moment there is no additional information about the accident.
