Tehran, YJC. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson says some US entities make wrong judgments about Iran’s nuclear program.

The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that some analyses made by US bodies about Iran’s nuclear program are based on unsound presuppositions and wrong information about the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.

Marzieh Afkham stated some statements made by US entities are "unconstructive and suspicious,” Mehr News Agency reports.

She added "While talks go on between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P5+1, dubious remarks and recommendations that generate from pessimism as referenced from the viewpoints of radical entities cannot make any contribution to the trend.”

The Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman further asserted "Threats and pressure have proved of no effect on the Iranian nation. Only negotiations that recognize mutual respect and even stances, as well as the recognition of the undeniable rights of the Iranian nation will be effective.”

"As it pursues talks with the Six Majors, Iran seeks its legal right in using the peaceful nuclear energy within the framework of the NPT, for which it has announced its readiness to obviate real, logical concerns about the issue,” Afkham added.
