TEHRAN, May 29 - The head of Intifada headquarters of the Islamic coordination council said that all the Palestinians oppose the so-called US peace plan for the Middle East and the schemes and plots by Zionists.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Ramazan Sharif said: "The Palestinian people have shown their opposition to the Americans and the Zionists, particularly to relocation of the US embassy to al-Quds (Jerusalem), to America's recognition of Israel's 'sovereignty' over the Golan Heights, and to Donald Trump's 'deal of the century'."
"Virtually all Palestinian groups, from across the spectrum, have totally rejected these American and Zionist moves," he added in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency on the sideline of a press conference about International Quds Day on Tuesday 28th of May in Tehran.
The head of Intifada headquarters of the Islamic coordination council noted: "Most important of all Palestinians have boycotted and rejected the upcoming conference in Bahrain [in late June] which has been organized by the US and oppressive Zionist regime of Israel."
"The Palestinians, even those Palestinian groups which in the past contemplated negotiations with Israel, know very well that accepting the schemes which will be unveiled in Bahrain, effectively means giving up the idea of an independent Palestinian state forever, and it also means the struggles and sacrifices of Palestinians for the past seventy years would all have been in vain," he added.
"Accepting Bahrain means giving up the idea of an independent Palestinian state." Sharif said.
In further comments Sharif said: "Security is a prerequisite for any investment and if the Palestinians do not gain their rights, there will never be any security in Palestine, and hence there will never be any investment in Palestine. No investor is going to invest in Palestine, because there is no security there."
Ramazan Sharif added: "The US-organized conference which is going to be held in Bahrain is simply a ruse and a deceptive show. Why have the American chosen Bahrain as the venue for this conference? Bahrain has no legitimacy as a venue because the rulers of Bahrain take away the rights of their own citizens, stripping them of Bahraini citizenship, simply because they take part in peaceful demonstrations and demand their basic rights."
The senior official pointed out that Donald Trump is a naïve and inexperienced politician who has presented nonsensical schemes in the past.
He added: "I definitely say that Palestinians are more determined than ever before, and they are ready to oppose the American-Zionist plot military, ethically and financially. They are more determined than at any time during the past 70 years."
He added: "Today Palestinians have demonstrated for 59 consecutive weeks, demanding the right of return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland. They have protested in the most dangerous zones, sacrificing 300 martyrs, with a further 17000 Palestinians injured."
One of the ways that peoples and nations show their opposition to schemes and plots by Zionists and world powers is to demonstrate, march, protest and to raise their voices, Sharif concluded.
