TEHRAN, Jul 5 -US President Donald Trump has hit back at former Vice President Joe Biden, calling the Democratic presidential candidate a "reclamation project" who won't win in 2020 election.

Trump says Biden won't win in 2020 election, calls him ‘reclamation project’TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -In a Twitter message on Saturday, Trump also accused Biden of deserting the US military, law enforcement and health care.

"Joe Biden is a reclamation project. Some things are just not salvageable," Trump wrote.

The Republican president also criticized Biden and the administration he served under former President Barack Obama for their trade policy toward China and for the deficits and debt it created.

"China and other countries that ripped us off for years are begging for him. He deserted our military, our law enforcement and our healthcare. Added more debt than all other Presidents combined. Won’t win!"

Trump has attacked Biden frequently since the former vice president officially announced his candidacy for the White House earlier this year, often using mocking nicknames such as "Sleepy Joe."

The latest confrontation began Friday when Biden told CNN in an interview that Trump is "the bully that used to make fun when I was a kid that I stutter, and I’d smack him in the mouth."

Trump rejected Biden’s accusation that he’s a bully and tying him to the Obama administration.

"I don't think I'm a bully at all. I just don't like being taken advantage of by other countries by pharmaceutical companies by all of the people that had taken advantage of this country," Trump said. "I call it the Obama-Biden mess."

Biden is still the front-runner in the Democratic presidential race, but he is falling behind in polls.

A national Reuters/Ipsos poll also found Biden still ahead, but his support was down 8 percentage points from a similar poll earlier in June. Among blacks, support for Biden was cut in half.
