Russia has warned that it will cut gas supplies to Ukraine next month over Kiev's gas debt, raising the possibility of deliveries to Europe being affected.

Russia's Energy Ministry confirmed on Monday that Ukraine's energy firm Naftogaz has paid $786.4 million for Russian natural gas supplies, reducing its debts.
