Tehran, YJC. Official says Arab and Western states are constantly trying to make a way into the possibly next Syrian President’s circle.

According to Tasnim news agency, Bashar Assad’s Political and Media Consultant Bouthaina Shaaban reported that some Arab, Persian Gulf, and Western states have called Assad expressing willingness to establish ties with him.

Speaking on Monday evening on al-Mayadeen she pointed out that Syria’s line is one of resistance and high Arab expediency.

Shaaban also stated that some Western countries show favor to establish talks with the country.

She added "The future belongs to new alliances which are forming in eastern Asia, China, and Iran.”

"The Syrian presidential election is the follow-up to the challenge imposed on the Syrian nation, who will endorse it notwithstanding threats, since they are the ones to whom the choice belongs,” she asserted.

The Syrian presidential consultant in political and media affairs further said "The scene about the Syrian citizens [casting votes] at the Syrian embassy was no surprise. If fact they surprised those who had targeted Syria. There has been a real change in the Syrian public mind.”

She further stated "The ways to resolve the Syrian crisis are diplomacy and Syrian-Syrian talks. The strategy for such approaches is yielding and the outcomes clear. We see this as a move forward and aimed at accomplishing the friendship trend.”
