103 Percent Increase in IME Weekly Trade Volume

Tehran, YJC. -- During last week, ending to 17 July 2014, more than 1 million tons of various types of products traded with the total value of 10,200 billion IRR (391 million USD) in the spot market of Iran Mercantile Exchange which shows 103 percent increase in volume and 24 percent increase regarding its value.
According to the report from IME international affairs and PR, total volume of 748Kt of various types of products were traded with the total value of 5,183 IRR (199 Million USD) in the metals and minerals trading floor of IME. Also more than 190Kt of steel products, 550 MT of iron ore, 4,470 MT of copper, 3Kt of Aluminum, 100 MT of molybdenum concentrate, 3MT of precious metals concentrate and 10 kg of gold bars were traded in this trading floor.

Also, in both domestic and export trading floor of IME for oil and petrochemical products , 265Kt of various types of products were traded with the total value of 5,000 billion IRR (192 million USD). In this trading floor, also more than 13Kt of bitumen, 41Kt of polymer products, 63Kt of ,29Kt of lube-cut, 16Kt of petrochemical products, 2,330 MT of sulfur and 420 MT of other related products were traded.

Also in the agricultural trading floor of IME, 100 MT of meal was traded in this trading floor.
