Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Foreign Ministry has raised voice against Cairo’s delay in sending humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs said that Cairo is earnestly demanded to issue certificate for the transport of Iran’s humanitarian aids to Gaza.

Hossein Amir Abdollahian stated "The first group of injured people from Gaza which include 57 infants, children, and women suffering great injuries are waiting for Iran’s aid flight to Egypt and then being transported to Tehran for medication.”

"The first Iranian humanitarian aid cargo weighing 100 tons as well as the Palestinian injure list to fly to Iran were sent to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry office, also the country’s interest section, in Tehran; but so far no flight certificate has been issued,” he maintained.

Amir Abdollahian expressed hope that "Egypt will not delay any more to do its humanitarian, historical, Islamic, and Arab duty against the violence of the Zionist regime in Gaza and to immediately open the border to transport food and drug.”
